The Nigerian Baptist (TNB), the official organ of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, was founded in 1923. It is arguably the oldest Christian magazine in Nigeria today.

The vision for the founding of a denominational periodical is “to teach, edify and inspire the Baptists of Nigeria, thereby making them more intelligent, consecrated and zealous citizens of the kingdom.”

Over the years, the magazine has been revamped and repackaged in such a way as to meet modern trends and challenges; and the yearnings of our numerous readers who desire nothing less than the truth.

The magazine has a mission of informing, inspiring and equipping men of God.

As the official organ of the Convention, The Nigerian Baptist informs the Baptist family of the events and programmes in the Convention, inspires its readers with insightful and current life-issue commentaries, and provides God’s servants with thoughtful feature articles and interviews on issues that are of utmost importance.

Subscription rate for the magazine is now N1,800.00 (one thousand, eight hundred naira) per annum at N150 per copy. Those who wish to receive their copy by post are, however, to add N600.
