Orphanage 

This minister to families, teenagers, the barren, divorcees, widow and widowers, spinsters and bachelors, ole-age, motherless and the like. We counsel, pray and if necessary organize deliverance prayers. The officer in charge is Rev. S.A Oladimeji.

Activities of 2008
In January the ministry went to Ilorin for BAAPP workshop for the youth i.e BSF, Lydia’s Senior GAs, RAs and their coordinators. The ministry was also involved in ministering to the aged at one of the conference organized by Oyo West Conference Social Ministry. The theme of the programme was preparation for and how to cope with Ageing. In continuation of BAAPP programme in February another programme was organized for Ekiti conference youth in Ado-Ekiti and the programme was well attended. February 17-22 was the Social Ministry Week of emphasis in our churches we went round few of our churches in Ibadan for emphasis. Quarterly, Ibadan Social Ministry church workers were meeting at the Baptist Building chapel for deliberation and prayers. The Northern conferences were not left out in the BAAPP programme. The team also travelled to the north for the same programme.

The convention and the division organized an end of year programme for widows/widowers in Ibadan. The programme was well attended, and was inspiring. The convention fed over 300 people that were in attendance and gave a token of love in terms of food stuff and take home gifts. It is hope that subsequent years will include more from other areas of the Convention.
