INFORMATION ON SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES FOR THE NEW GENERAL SECRETARY

Notice is hereby given to the Nigerian Baptist Convention family, that information on the shortlisted candidates for the new General Secretary can now be prayerfully sent directly to the Search Committee subject to the following terms:

1.            Shortlisted Candidates in alphabetical order

                a.             Rev. Dr. Ayokunle, Samson O. A., Jubilee-Life Baptist Church, Ibadan.
                b.            Rev. Dr. Chuga, Reuben I., Baptist Theological Seminary, Kaduna.
                c.             Rev. Eyitayo, Samuel O., Aatan Baptist Church, Oyo.
                d.            Rev. Dr. Nihinlola, Ezekiel E., Baptist College of Theology, Lagos.
                e.             Pastor Dr. Oke, Sunday, O., Lagos State Baptist Conference, Lagos.

2.            Information Needed

                Any known and accurate information on any of the candidates, that could assist the Search Committee in determining the suitability or otherwise of the candidates for the office of the General Secretary.

3.            Procedure for Sending Information

                a.             Members of the Convention family shall prayerfully submit information directly to the Search Committee for the new General Secretary

b.            Each information document shall contain the following:

                i.              Sender - Name, Church, Address, Association, Conference, Telephone number and e-mail address.
                ii.            Candidate – Name and Address. Detailed information.
                iii.           Caveat – No ANONYMOUS information shall be entertained.

4.            Information Timing:                

                a.             Notice commences on August 1, 2010.
                b.            Receipt of information closes on September 30, 2010.

5.            Communicating Information to the Search Committee:
